Lake Kivu is one of Africa’s most picturesque bodies of water, and a day spent at Kibuye offers a perfect mix of relaxation and exploration.
Itinerary:
Morning Pick-Up (6:00 AM): Your driver will pick you up from your Kigali hotel and drive to Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu.
Boat Cruise and Island Visit (9:30 AM): Upon arrival, embark on a private boat cruise across the pristine waters of Lake Kivu. Visit Napoleon Island, famous for its large colony of fruit bats, and enjoy birdwatching along the way.
Lakeside Picnic Lunch (12:30 PM): After the boat tour, enjoy a picnic lunch on the lakeside, featuring fresh fish from Lake Kivu and other local delicacies, all while soaking in the serene beauty of the lake.
